Most windows have locks. The keys for these are inside the kitchen wall cabinet closest to the window, in a pink basket. The keys to the back door are also here.

There is an ‘all hours’ shop located at the garage by the Ludford Bridge at the bottom of Lower Broad Street. It sells most basic supplies. The town has a wealth of butchers, bakers and fruit & vegetable shops as well as two supermarkets. A market is held twice a week.

On departure

Please leave the house clean and tidy (we hope you found it that way on arrival!)

Take your rubbish home unless you are staying over on a Monday when the rubbish is collected very early on the Tuesday morning. An alternative suggestion is to take small bags of rubbish up to the town bins.

Shut and lock the windows

Leave the dishwasher, washing machine doors ajar using the blocks of wood provided! The fridge can be left on.
